Mercantile Receipt Book from the Past, Unused
Something small, rare and perfect for the antiques dealer or the shop that wants an authentic, old mercantile look. This old book of receipts is unused and weathered by time. Mercantile Receipts is printed on the front cover in cursive font. Each page is as you can see in our photo. The pages are perforated with old-time perforations – large and sparse. There is the stub with spaces allotted for your record, the empty lines for Date, To, For and Amt. I would think this was printed anytime between 1900 and 1920 or so. The condition is as you see it, darkened with age, a few pages with upper corner folds (one corner a little more serious with a partial tear along fold), all print clear and readable. An interesting little bit for your shop’s counter, by your antique, incredibly heavy and cumbersome brass cash register! 6” X 2”. 50 blank receipts. Free USA shipping/handling/insurance via USPS.
