Puppy Dexterity Game, Early 1940s
A sweet hand held dexterity game. I used to love these when I was a kid in the early 50s. This one is a puppy game and it has its original two tiny balls. The object of the game is to roll one ball into each eye socket of the pup at the same time. The game was made in Germany and is marked MADE IN U.S. ZONE GERMANY D.R.G.M. D.R.G.M. stands for "Deutsches Reichsgebrauchsuster", which means that it is a registered design of the German Reich. The mark was in use before WWI, on until the end of WWII. This is not a military marking. In clean original condition, there has been no tampering with it, whatsoever. There are a few age spots on the yellow background of the front, to the side. A few dings and pings to the metal in the back. Other than that, it's in great condition. 2 1/4" diameter; stands 3/8" high. Our photo is the one and the same game shot at 2 different angles.
