Elegant, distinctive, these earrings are topped with gilt straps and buckle forms to hold long, slender pendants of selenite. The strap and buckles are made of an alloy of copper and zinc or similar, popular in the Georgian and early to mid-Victorian periods as an affordable substitute for gold.
