Vintage Egg Basket c1920 with Lots of Quail Eggs
An early 20th century wire egg basket found in England, but said to have been made in France. It carries quail eggs, very nicely blown empty. Makes a sweet, down-home-y presentation, nice and welcoming. The basket stands about 8" high with handles down. With handles up, a shade over 10" high, and it's about 10" wide at its widest part. In particularly fine condition. It holds over 40 little quail eggs. It can hold a lot of big eggs, too. The eggs are included in the purchase.
