A Doll's Brass Fireplace Surround, Fender & Accessories c1918

This interesting brass miniature fireplace set dates to about 1918 or so.  The set has a free-standing brass fireplace surround with mantle, a basket-style log holder over the ashpit and an embossed faux door in the firebox back for the cleaning out of ashes.  There is a handsome brass fender and a tool set with a stand. The set includes 3 tools: the ash shovel, the poker and the tongs.  All are in terrific condition.  The brass has earned a rich, mellow, satiny patina over the generations.  These pieces would probably enjoy a gentle cleaning and polishing.  Fireplace surround 4 1/8"T X 4 1/2"W X 5/8"D.  Fender 3 7/8"W X 1 7/8"T X 2"D.  Tool stand 3 1/4"T.  Questions?  Email anytime.
