Inside the kettle it is clean and there are no holes or weaknesses.  The handle and spout are strong and sturdy.  A glowing accessory for your kitchen or your hearth.  The kettly, empty, weighs over 6 pounds.  Aboout 13 1/2" with handle extended up; body of kettle is about 8 1/2" high not counting the lid, 11 1/2" high with lid in place. 8" diameter at very bottom; 34" circumference at widest part on body. This is a kettle to be reckoned with!
